Låven Event Venue Terms and Conditions
Låven ("we"/"us"/"our") is managed by Æventyr1 AS with registered office at Markedsgata 6, 9510 Alta, Norway. We provide premium event venue services in Alta, Norway.

Jurisdiction
Låven is operated by a Norwegian company under Norwegian law. Your booking and these terms shall be subject to Norwegian Law.
Payment
Payments for venue bookings and event services are made through Æventyr1 AS.
- Full payment is required prior to the event date.
- Låven reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or increase the price due to cost increases from applicable laws, taxes, or operational costs.
- If paying online via credit card, the site pricing is final (includes bank charges and applicable taxes).
Venue-Specific Terms
Alcohol Service
Låven holds its own alcohol license (skjenjebevilling). Outside alcohol and beverages are strictly prohibited. All alcohol and beverages must be purchased through our event management service (Æventyr1 AS).
Food and Catering
Outside food and beverages are not permitted. All catering services must be arranged through our event management service (Æventyr1 AS) to ensure quality and compliance with health regulations.
Venue Capacity
Låven has specific capacity limits for different event types. Final guest count must be confirmed 14 days before the event. Additional charges may apply for exceeding confirmed capacity.
Reservations
- You are responsible for filling booking documents accurately. Upon receiving your completed booking and full payment, Låven will confirm your event reservation.
- Confirmation and the booking details will be delivered within 24 hours of booking and payment. The contract between you and Låven exists when this confirmation is received.
- Special terms may apply to some promotions. Refer to the specific terms shown on promotion pages. By booking, you agree to the Terms herein.
- By booking, you agree you read the and will provide it to others on the booking. Privacy Policy.
- By booking, you confirm you and others on the booking are the appropriate age, if age restrictions apply.
- You are responsible for following safety instructions and recommendations. Låven isn't responsible for losses or damages from your failure in this regard.
- You must ensure you and your guests have all necessary documentation and comply with venue policies.
- Låven will operate all events as described in the booking confirmation, but reserves the right to modify or cancel any arrangements based on conditions. Material changes or cancellations may be made due to force majeure (war, riots, strikes, disasters, terrorism, etc.) or circumstances outside Låven's control.
Cancellation Policy
Groups 10-20 persons
Full cancellation of entire arrangement:
- From the order date until 30 days prior to arrival: Free cancellation
- 29-21 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee of the total cost
- 20-0 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee of the total cost
Reduction in number of persons from accommodation/conference/food and beverage/activities:
- 14 days prior to arrival: Freely reduce up to 10% in number of participants from the confirmed order
- 13 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee of the total cost
Group size 21-40 persons
Full cancellation of entire arrangement:
- From the order date until 60 days prior to arrival: Free cancellation
- 59-31 days prior to arrival: 40% cancellation fee of the total cost
- 30-0 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee of the total cost
Reduction in number of persons from accommodation/conference/food and beverage/activities:
- 21 days prior to arrival: Freely reduce up to 20% in number of participants from the confirmed order
- 20 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee of the total cost
Group size 41-65 persons
Full cancellation of entire arrangement:
- From the order date until 75 days prior to arrival: Free cancellation
- 74-41 days prior to arrival: 40% cancellation fee of the total cost
- 40-0 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee of the total cost
Reduction in number of persons from accommodation/conference/food and beverage/activities:
- 21 days prior to arrival: Freely reduce up to 20% in number of participants from the confirmed order
- 20 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee of the total cost
Group size 66-100+ persons
Full cancellation of entire arrangement:
- From the order date until 90 days prior to arrival: Free cancellation
- 89-41 days prior to arrival: 40% cancellation fee of the total cost
- 40-0 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee of the total cost
Reduction in number of persons from accommodation/conference/food and beverage/activities:
- 21 days prior to arrival: Freely reduce up to 20% in number of participants from the confirmed order
- 20 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee of the total cost
Important Information
- Cancellation and reduction must be made in writing/e-mail and re-confirmed from Æventyr1 AS.
- The Customer is responsible for informing the group members of reduction deadlines.
Liability Exemption
Låven isn't liable and won't compensate you if its obligations are hampered by events beyond its control, including injury, loss, damage, death, delay, or inconvenience from force majeure (war, riots, government actions, terrorism, strikes, weather, epidemics, dangers of travel, etc.).
While facilitating third-party services, Låven isn't responsible for services beyond its control. You agree Låven isn't responsible for wrongful/negligent acts, omissions, or failures of transportation, catering, or other 3rd party suppliers.
However, Låven may assist you without obligation in notifying a service provider of your claim against them.
Complaints and Claims
Låven will address claims or complaints brought to its attention as soon as possible and within 7 days of the event. Provide sufficient details and evidence for investigation.
Låven isn't liable if you fail to lodge a complaint within this time limit.
